The position

EcoDim B.V. is looking for reinforcement in the field sales department. Thanks to the company's rapid growth, we are looking for an additional field sales representative. As sales representative, together with Gabbe, you are responsible for EcoDim LED dimmers and related products within the business market. Your task will be to continue and expand our current dealer network (including electrical wholesalers, DIY stores, retail/retail). Gabbe and you will each serve your own market and be responsible for it.

You are active in finding, approaching and visiting new and existing customers. Strategically, you work together with the 'management'. In the execution, you are completely independent. You also maintain the client database accurately and keep the management up to date on your activities and results.

Do not be afraid that you will spend a lot of time in the office, because we also have our own back office/customer service to process all orders and answer customer questions.

Specific knowledge of LED dimming or electrical engineering is not required. We will fully train you in this. Some affinity with it is of course preferred.

  • At least a completed MBO education in Sales or similar
  • At least 2 years' work experience in field sales
  • You are a strong communicator
  • You are not afraid of cold acquisition
  • You have a lot of perseverance
  • You are excellent at working independently
  • You are honest & reliable
  • You feel a high level of responsibility for your tasks
  • You have a good command of the Dutch language
  • You are representative
  • You have a sense of humour
  • You are in possession of driving license B
  • Electrical knowledge is not required, but affinity is preferred

Company description

EcoDim is an importer and wholesaler of LED dimmers and specific LED lighting. The company originated from the webshop EcoBright, founded in 2013. Due to the increasing professional interest in led dimmers, the companies were split up a few years later so that EcoDim can purely serve the professional market (electrical wholesalers & installation sector).

We now work in a young, friendly, close-knit team of 12 colleagues. There is a familiar atmosphere with lots of fun on the shop floor and a real go-getter mentality. Every Friday afternoon at 16:00, we pull out a beer (or wine/fresh drink), we have our own bar (with dartboard, tennis table, Xbox and playseat) and a few times a year we go on a team outing.
