At EcoDim, you’ll work on a wide variety of designs that you’ll actually see on the market: from product packaging and advertisements in trade journals to product displays, exhibition stands and online communications. At EcoDim, we develop innovative LED dimmers and lighting solutions that are sold throughout Europe. Behind our products lies not only technology, but also a strong brand. That’s why we’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing department.

What will you be doing?

As an all-round graphic designer, you’ll work on virtually all of EcoDim’s visual communications. Because we’re a small team, you’ll be given a lot of responsibility and your work will be incredibly varied. Together with your immediate colleagues Ramon (design), Jetze (marketing) and Jeroen (sales), you’ll come up with creative concepts and then ensure that everything is executed to perfection.

Your duties will include:

• Designing product packaging.
• Producing brochures, catalogues, manuals and in-store displays.
• Editing product photos and stock images.
• Designing adverts for trade journals and online campaigns.
• Designing banners for websites and social media.
• Designing and sending out email newsletters.
• Designing exhibition stands, displays, roll-up banners and other point-of-sale (POS) materials.
• Monitoring and further developing our corporate identity.
• Preparing files for print and liaising with suppliers where necessary.
• Checking designs for spelling, alignment, technical specifications and quality.
• Contributing ideas for new campaigns, product launches and creative concepts.

Who are you?

You’re someone who combines creativity with an eye for detail. You enjoy creating beautiful designs, but also derive satisfaction from a perfectly finished end result.

In addition:

• You have a vocational or higher vocational qualification in Graphic Design, DTP or Multimedia Design.
• You enjoy working with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects (and possibly 3D software).
• You’re a friendly person from the Achterhoek region with a good sense of humour.
• Do you value a friendly team environment highly?
• Do you have an eye for design, typography and colour?
• Do you work with great attention to detail?
• Are you good at planning and managing multiple projects at the same time?
• Do you have the confidence to take the initiative and come up with new ideas?

Our product portfolio now also includes recessed spotlights, drivers, cover materials and smart home products — and we are currently expanding this range even further.
